What if Jesus never existed?

Who was Jesus?

This is not just a question asked by Christians seeking to know more about the Lord. It’s also being asked by skeptics who don’t believe Jesus ever existed at all. C.S. Lewis argued there were only three possible solutions: Jesus had to either be a liar, a lunatic, or the Lord Almighty. But there are many today who would like to add “legend” to that list as they question whether Jesus of Nazareth was actually a historical figure.

According to pastor and journalist John Dickerson, there are fifteen ancient authors who legitimately testify that Jesus really lived, taught, performed miracles, and was crucified about 2,000 years ago. Dickerson goes into great detail about this in his book, but the following video offers a great introduction for why it doesn’t take faith to believe that Jesus was a real person. In fact, we have far more evidence for Jesus’s existence than any other historical person of his day.
