It’s been eight months since Russia invaded Ukraine. And now, with more than twelve million people displaced within the country and across Europe, the war shows no sign of letting up as soldiers begin to face a long, harsh winter. What hope is there?
On this week’s episode of the Great Stories Podcast, Charles Morris speaks with leaders from two organizations doing tireless work on the ground in and around Ukraine today.
First, you’ll hear from Sergey Rakhuba, President of Mission Eurasia, who shares some miraculous stories out of Ukraine on how the kingdom of God is advancing, even in the midst of war. Haven is also partnering with Mission Eurasia to send Christmas boxes to traumatized and displaced refugee children from this conflict. Find out how you can participate here.
In the second half of the episode, you’ll hear from Director of FEBC-Russia & Ukraine Dr. Victor Akhterov. He discusses how the Ukrainian government have given the ministry radio stations, expanding the opportunity for FEBC to share the gospel throughout the war. Even as shelling and power outages threaten to stifle the good news, God’s Word is getting preached faithfully and heard every day by many.
