The first way you can help the Nepali people is through prayer. Pray for those who have lost their loved ones. Pray for the people to find safety. Pray for them to find reliable sources of food and water.

But most of all, pray for them to know Jesus. Christians only make up 0.45% of Nepal’s population, but Scripture shows us that the Lord can use even the worst situations to make His glory known. As the people of Nepal look for peace and comfort, pray that they find it in Jesus Christ.

The second way you can help is to give to relief efforts. Even from thousands of miles away, all of us can offer resources to help the Nepali people recover. There is a shortage of clean water and accessible food. And it will take billions of dollars for the country to rebuild the cities and villages affected by the quake.

Your contribution can help restore safety and stability to one of the neediest places on Earth. Here are two trusted organizations that are on the ground serving the Nepali people with relief in the name of Jesus.
