Be Christ's Hands and Feet to the Philippines Now

Bodies are strewn in the streets. Thirty members of one family missing. On Friday, Nov. 8, surging water from a super typhoon in the Philippines pulled a daughter from her father’s arms and now she’s gone.

The most violent typhoon in recorded history made landfall in the Philippines with waves as high as two-story buildings. Typhoon Haiyan-Yolanda has left behind a disaster beyond reckoning. Without clean water, food, or medical supplies, people are resorting to acts of desperation to survive.

Haven Ministries is partnering with Far East Broadcasting Co. (FEBC) to bring physical and spiritual relief to Tacloban, Philippines. Immediate relief efforts will arrive from Haven in two forms: humanitarian aid and emergency first response radio broadcasting.

Partner with us to be Christ’s hands and feet. Send in a donation to bring relief to the Philippines.

Haven Ministries and FEBC have been partnering together in the Philippines for more than 60 years. Every day, Haven Today is heard on nine stations covering most of the country. As a trusted voice for the local body of Christ, Haven Ministries and FEBC will use your gift to bring help via existing networks of Christian believers when the first relief arrives this week, not next month

When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne. … Then the righteous will answer him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?’ And the King will answer them, ‘Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.’ — Matthew 25:31-46
