Anticipate the Messiah This Christmas

December is fast approaching.

Usually, that’s a time marked by gift-buying, travel-planning, and meal-making. Even in a year that’s not riddled with supply chain shortages and a lingering pandemic, it’s easy to slip into old habits and take the focus off Jesus.

Well, I want to help you stay focused and anticipate the Messiah this Christmas with a four-part sequence of email devotions this December.

It’s my hope that each week leading up to Christmas will be a time for us to zero in on what led up to that first Christmas story and why we keep celebrating it 2,000 years later.

So, what do you say? Will you join me in anticipating Christ this Christmas?

From Moses to Isaiah to Mathew, Mark, and Luke, all of Scripture points to Jesus, and I am excited to once again reflect on key Bible passages that explicitly tell of the coming Messiah. I hope you’ll join me.
