Hurricane Relief In Action

One week has passed since the second historic hurricane in two weeks hit the Southeastern United Sates. Much has been done to provide hurricane relief to those most impacted by the storms. But restoration and recovery is far from complete.

In this short video, David Wollen shares what he saw in Florida less than 48 hours after Milton made landfall. While this only shows you a small corner of the devastation left by two of the most powerful hurricanes in recent history, the support you give to Hurricane Relief here reaches far beyond the area surrounding Tampa Bay—you are also providing necessary aid to survivors throughout the Southeastern United States.

Hurricane Relief

While Hurricane Milton produced widespread devastation across Florida, survivors in North Carolina continue to struggle through the aftermath of Hurricane Helene.

In response to the rapidly intensifying need in both regions, Haven Ministries is partnering with statewide disaster relief efforts through thousands of churches connected by the Florida Baptist Convention and the North American Mission Board. This will bring immediate on-the-ground support to families impacted by Hurricanes Milton and Helene. Will you give boldly to help families in need?

Trained and prepared to offer emergency aid, deployed teams share the hope of Christ through daily meals, clean-up and recovery services, and a Bible for every family.

But before the national relief agencies come in and set up shop, it’s the churches who are offering help and hope first. And when everyone else leaves town, they’ll still be working. Why? Because that’s what the church does—we serve people as the hands and feet of Jesus, for his glory and for the hope of the Gospel.
