"About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the other prisoners were listening to them."
When we openly worship God, who knows what effect it may have beyond our relationship with Him? Well, actually, He does. As He did with Paul and Silas’ fellow prisoners and jailer, along with the jailer’s household, God is breaking people’s chains, helping many to know there is Someone to turn to Who is worth believing in and worshipping, Who will totally love and accept them. Worship is a magnet that draws us closer to our Lord, and those who happen to be in the vicinity may be pulled in as well, finding freedom from their own dungeons and eternal release through Jesus for their souls.
Acts 16:16-34; Col 3:16-17
"I WILL SING OF THE LORD'S GREAT LOVE FOREVER; WITH MY MOUTH I WILL MAKE YOUR FAITHFULNESS KNOWN THROUGH ALL GENERATIONS."
