“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”

Colossians 3:17
“Follow your heart”? Only when the Word of God informs it and when Jesus has made His home in it.

It’s time to ask yourself some important questions: Do others see Jesus in you, no matter the circumstances? Do you give thanks to God in whatever you do, no matter what the outcome is?

Think of the foods you buy; the container or package lists ingredients so you know with certainty what it is made of. What if you had an ingredients list printed on you? Would Jesus be your main ingredient? Would others clearly see Jesus in you?

A young man moved around on his college campus using crutches. Friendly and optimistic, he won the deep respect of his classmates. One day a student asked him what caused his need for crutches. “Infantile paralysis,” he replied. The classmate responded, “With a misfortune like that, how can you face the world so?” “Oh,” replied the young Christian, smiling, “the disease never touched my heart!”

The Word of God in Jesus Christ dwelt richly in that young man’s heart. Will you let Jesus dwell in yours, whatever you do?
