“Philip said, ‘Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.’”

John 14:8
For a world constantly looking for more to fill a deep emptiness in its soul, Philip is exactly right! All you and I need is to experience “the Father and that will be enough.” Why has my marriage ended in divorce? Why is there nothing more at the top of the corporate ladder? Why can’t the drugs and alcohol ease my pain? How did I end up behind this prison wall, far from my loved ones? When you’ve missed out on the Father, all this life has to offer will never be enough. You were created to fellowship with Him.
Jesus goes on to make this amazing statement: “Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father.” Jesus is the exact representation of His Father (Hebrews 1:3). When we study and learn about Jesus in the Gospels, we see what the Father looks like. The miracles, the teaching, His life and death… they all show us the heart of the Father. In John 14 alone Jesus uses the word “Father” 23 times to highlight that He and the Father are one.
Read all about Him. As you gaze on the face of Jesus, you will know that He is enough!
