“To the weak I became weak, to win the weak. I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some.”

1 Corinthians 9:22
Contributed by Doru in Romania: Our church-planting ministry throughout many Romanian communities focuses on sharing the good news of the gospel. We attempt to follow Paul’s way of doing ministry as he describes it in 1 Corinthians 9, modifying his ways, his speech, and his approach so that in telling others of Jesus, he does not put them off as if he were above them. He does “it all for the sake of the gospel that I may share with them in its blessing” (v. 23).

When communicating the gospel by way of church planting, evangelistic crusades, public events, and feeding and counseling ministries, we care for the weak and vulnerable. We reach out to prisoners, orphans, children, refugees, the sick, the elderly, and those in the Gypsy community. We adjust the language of our gospel message to make it more understandable to those whom we serve. But we always share the unchanging and true message of Jesus Christ, our Risen Lord!

Praise God that by walking alongside the marginalized among us, we have opportunities to share the good news!
