"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations...
And surely I am with you always, to the very
end of the age."
(MATTHEW 28:19-20)

Matthew 28:19-20
When you are assured of the presence of the Lord, your fear is assuaged, your mind renewed and your confidence increased. Jesus used a similar phrase when He gave the church its commission. Facing powerful Rome and the established Jewish religion, the early church spread because their faithful Lord was with them, guiding them through every mountain and valley.

Do you sometimes feel like you can’t do anything right, much less anything for the Lord? Even when your failures abound, the God who sees you through is with you. Be faithful to what the Lord is asking you today. It may mean going to check out that church, or attending that Bible study. Perhaps you need to say, “God bless you” to a stranger or call a downcast friend. Might you tell someone about the love of Jesus today? Step out knowing the promise of Jesus is sure. He will allay your fears and strengthen you, whether “making disciples” happens right in your home, neighborhood, or workplace or whether it means going to distant lands. You will not
go alone!
