"You, my brothers, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the sinful nature;
rather, serve one another in love."
(GALATIANS 5:13)

2 Timothy 1:7-10
This passage helps me comprehend freedom for the believer, a freedom that only can be understood through Scripture. Freedom is the power of Christ in your life. Before knowing Jesus as my Savior, I put a lot of confidence in my Martial arts background and felt free from the human fears that so many continue to walk in. Yet it wasn’t until the Gospel was made clear to me that I realized that I had never truly known freedom. It is the powerful work of Christ that gives me the freedom I am able to walk in today.

I promise and vow to never forget the greatest talent God has bestowed on anyone: the power to pray. Through triumph and despair, love and heartbreak, ecstasy and pain, applause and rejection, success and failure, you can always light the lamp of faith in your heart with a prayer. You will find, as I have, safety through the mists of doubt, the darkness of futility, the narrow thorny ways of sickness and sorrow, and the treacherous places of temptation. God hears the cries of your heart.
