"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!"
(2 CORINTHIANS 5:17)

2 Corinthians 5:17-21
As a college student I was involved in an on-campus ministry called Campus Crusade for Christ. Our goal was to make Christ known to students. I remember one girl, a self-professed atheist, whose worldview was formed from what she knew of mathematics, physics and logic. She could debate with Christians up one side and down the other on nearly every topic that touched close to Christianity.

One day someone challenged her about whether she believed she was a good person. That question hit a nerve, and she went into a period of extreme introspection. Months later I met her at a Bible study, her face practically aglow. For several weeks she had been pouring out her heart to God. No longer combative about Christianity, she was now brimming with her newfound joy in the Lord. The transformation that took place in her was astonishing. To this day she remains one of my dearest friends. What amazing changes God works in the hearts of those who seek after Jesus Christ. Praise God for His new creations!
