Ephesians 3:19-21
For a few months I dated a delightful young woman who had what I like to call “an abundance perspective.” She was someone who leaned hard on the Lord, always poised for more that God would have for her. Though various people in her life encouraged a victim mentality in her, she put her heart and soul into the One who could do immeasurably more for her than she could ever ask or imagine. She held the “abundance perspective” dear.


Do you actively seek to live abundantly, to live life to the full?


Throughout the Scriptures, God urges us to cling to His promises (2 Peter 1:4), to remember that we are more than conquerors in Him (Romans 8:37), to be bold (Deuteronomy 31:6), to trust in Him (Proverbs 3:5). When we bear these things in mind and put them into action, we see that they are all part of what it means to live abundantly. When we lean into the abundance that God has for us, we communicate to a watching world that our God is exactly who He says He is. And that’s a powerful message.
