"Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good, to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and to show true humility toward all men."
(TITUS 3:1-2)

Titus 3:1-15
Dr. Harold Sala writes about society: “No longer is something right or wrong, moral or immoral. We have become amoral, which means anything goes.”

Many people today have no foundation at all for integrity. As Christians, we are followers of Christ and His Word, and so it seems that with the Spirit working in us, doing the things on this list ought to be easy. But do you ever struggle with being peaceable, doing only good, and showing true humility?

How can we measure up to these “things that are excellent and profitable for everyone” (3:8)? The beautiful, short letter of Paul to his friend Titus tells us. “When the kindness and love of our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy” (v. 4-5). Christ has done it for us! Yes, He wants us to strive after these things with all our hearts. But God knows we will fail, so He has given in our place the perfect record of Jesus – the truly good One, the Prince of Peace, the perfectly obedient and
humble One.
