"And if anyone gives a cup of cold water to one of the little ones because he is my disciple, I tell you the truth, he will certainly not lose his reward."
(MATTHEW 10:42)

Matthew 10:40-42
You’ve probably never been on national
television. You’re not famous for anything you’ve invented. Like most of us, you pass mostly unnoticed among throngs of people around you day in and day out.

Though you may not be a big name, Someone bigger than all creation considers you to be big with Him. That’s because there are no “little things” with God. A drink given to a child in His name does not go unnoticed. Postage stamps enclosed in a letter to an inmate, a note of encouragement to a friend, a plate of brownies delivered next door, a hug – God sees and remembers these “little things.”

You can’t get a tax deduction for them, but God values every gift given in His name. After all, He is the true giver of good gifts, providing the most wonderful gift of all in something people first thought to be just “a little thing” – a baby born in a manger, God’s own Son, Jesus Christ. Ask the Lord to help you be faithful in the little things, remembering that He gave the greatest gift in life for you: a cup of
Living Water!
