"'Come now, let us reason together,' says the LORD. 'Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson,
they shall be like wool.'"
(ISAIAH 1:18)

Zechariah 3:1-5
I looked at all the dresses in the bridal shop in less than five minutes and was convinced – nothing was what I was looking for. Then the lady behind the counter asked if I liked lace, and I said I did. The next thing I knew, I was in a clearance dress. It was perfect: lace and beautiful beading – in that dress I felt like a bride.

The amazing thing about putting on a wedding dress is that you feel transformed, just as the Lord transforms us to come into His presence. He takes our sins and our self-righteousness, nothing more than “filthy rags” to Him (Isaiah 64:6), and He wipes them away. He purifies us and makes us beautiful. He sets us apart as His Bride, dressing us in wedding clothes that He bought with His life.

What scarlet blemishes does the imperfect Church of Christ bring before His throne? Are her stains of unfaithfulness, pride, and discontent there? No! Not one stain remains. A Bride white as snow walks down the aisle toward her Lover who with His own blood has washed her stains away.
