Revelation 3:5
I have looked for the return of Jesus since I was four years old. My birthfather had died, but my mom and adoptive dad, Janet and Charles Morris, told me that Jesus would come again. I remember swinging on my swing in the yard, searching the sky for His white horse.

One day Jesus really will come back for us. John writes in Revelation that those who persevere and overcome are the victors. God promises them they will receive eternal life, they will be in His presence forever, they belong to Him, and the new creation will be their inheritance. He promises them everything!

So who is the one who overcomes? It is the one who clings to the testimony of Jesus Christ. It’s the one who comes to the Lamb who was slain for their sins, trusting in His death for forgiveness. It’s the one who, by the Spirit and according to God’s grace, stands firm until the end.

If you already know Jesus, or if you are putting your trust in Him today, you will be counted among those who overcome. You are victorious in Him!
