“We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God.”

2 Corinthians 5:20
During my last mission trip to Cuba, I had the opportunity to evangelize by knocking on doors and talking to people about salvation and eternity. It was a challenging task, one for which I had to be bold. It can be difficult to reach out to others about matters of faith, but it is even more daunting to do so in a communist country. Nevertheless, we were able to evangelize a section of a town and have meaningful conversations with people needing to be reconciled to God. Still, many were left without knowing the Truth.
This reminded me of when Jesus appointed and sent out 72 people to proclaim the Good News to towns all around Judea. He said in Luke 10:2, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.”
According to recent statistics, the United States has the largest Christian population in the world: 240 million. The questions is, are you part of the few, or are you part of the many? In other words, is God using you to have an impact on people in your world? Go and proclaim the good news to those around you.
