“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of everyone who believes: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile.”

Romans 1:16
Contributed by Radek from the Czech Republic: I work through International Needs within the schools of my hometown where we have been invited to help and encourage students. God has provided many opportunities to me and the other volunteers working with eighth graders to share how the gospel of Jesus Christ changes and transforms lives.

The students with whom our volunteers work have experienced too many difficulties and disappointments in their 13 years of life: disappointment because of divorce, alcohol, quarreling, lying, and mutual distrust. They often share this information with us during break times. Those close to them have not listened when they have tried to communicate their worry and despair. But, just as we see the change in Peter’s life and in his outlook through the story of Cornelius, God has the power through the gospel to change our students’ circumstances. And if He does not change them, He may transform their perspective on life.

We are so thankful for our opportunities to convey the gospel to students in our community!
