“However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the gospel of God’s grace.”Acts 20:24
Born a Yazidi, he gave his life to Jesus following a series of dreams and visions he had when he was a young man. Since then he has been disowned by his family, beaten by his friends, and shot at by strangers. Still he refuses to stop believing in Jesus Christ. Nothing short of death will prevent him from sharing the love of Jesus among Muslim and Yazidi neighbors. To the Pastor, it’s all a matter of where you draw the finish line. To him, this race takes us to the moment we breathe our last and stand face-to-face with God. When we see life that way, fear loses some of its power.
1 Corinthians 9:24-27
Pray for the pastor, his family, and those he works among.
