How many times have you said, “I’ll pray for you,” and then realized with dismay that you totally forgot to do it? Didn’t write it down. Never thought of it again. I’ve failed to pray so many times that I finally figured out I need to stop and pray for that person right then and there.

Jesus is that prayer partner! He ascended to His Father’s right hand so He could intercede for you. He not only has the Father’s ear, He also knows your heart. And since He will never die, He will never stop praying for His people—for you, and for me. His prayers for us are perfect, timely, wise, and effective.
Jesus’ ongoing prayers are keeping you and me safe and assured of our salvation.
