"He who testifies to these things says, 'Yes, I am coming soon.' Amen. Come, Lord Jesus."
(REVELATION 22:20)

Matthew 25:1-13
I work from home, and sometimes it seems like all I can do to get myself dressed by the time Adrian comes home from work and school. Some of you who work from home may know that familiar feeling. It is easy to forget about putting myself together in the morning since I know that no one will see me until the evening. I figure that what I look like doesn’t really matter throughout the day. Of course, when I suddenly realize my husband will be home in an hour, a flurry of activity begins as I rush to clean up and clear away coffee mugs before he walks through the door.

We are waiting for our Husband to return to us, too, but His name is Jesus Christ. At times, we get preoccupied and used to life “without” Him, but He is coming. It is our hope and our joy: He is coming for us! It is also a warning: We need to be prepared to greet Him. He is our sweet Bridegroom who has given everything to claim us. Let us pray that we may know our true identity in Him and live each day eager and preparing for His return.
