"Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on
things above, not on earthly things."
(COLOSSIANS 3:1-2)

John 14:2-3; Revelation 5
Wherever we call home, many of us sing in the shower and while doing various chores. The rest of the world can’t hear us, so we can be cheerily out of tune, though somehow we sound superb in our estimation. We’re at home, and things flow easily from us.

Our homey feelings here can’t compare with the magnificent future that awaits His redeemed people, the bliss of being in God’s presence and knowing it will never end. We’ll be completely at ease, completely accepted, completely free of care. Jesus will be there, and every doubt and struggle will be over. Music will naturally pour
forth from us.

The joy we’ve known on earth in praising God with music will be infinitely magnified in heaven. Heaven will be full of music: great, special choirs (Revelation 14:1-5), instruments (Revelation 5:8; 8; 15:2), and exuberant songs (Revelation 5:6-14). We’ll be overflowing with love and adoration, with our best music for the One Who’s given us music to help us all our lives until we’re
finally home forever.
