This type of temptation and forgetfulness is a battle every Christian must face. Following Christ is not easy. “Eat, drink, and be merry” may hold more appeal than “pick up your cross and follow me.” It can be tempting to glance back at the life we left behind. But Jesus says, “No one who puts a hand to the plow and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.”
Do you feel weak today? Do you feel that you cannot go on? Jesus does not call us to do anything He will not also equip us to do. Bring your needs before Him and trust Him.
MANNA WAS ONLY GOOD FOR A SINGLE DAY. LIKEWISE, GOD'S SUSTAINING WORD IS JUST WHAT WE NEED TODAY. DON'T GO HUNGRY WITHOUT IT!
