“Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.”

Hebrews 11:1
When we wake up and life’s worries and troubles are still there, we need to reach deep into our relationship with our loving God to ask Him to increase our hope. The more bleak the circumstance, the more the stage is set for God to move mightily in it. The journey we’re on is significant to the Father. He cares about our agony. He wants us to trust Him fully and not lose hope along the way.
Hope is such a beautiful word. No matter how many tears have been shed, how many prayers seem to be unanswered, or how afraid we are, there is hope. We can cling to the fact that what we are learning through our hopeless situation is a lesson we cannot learn any other way. Jesus Himself offers to come alongside and travel this road with us. That’s why He came to earth in the first place.
Let the good news of Christ in Christmas cause you to abandon despair. Dig your heels into hope, extending that gift to others and presenting to our world that Jesus is the only hope any of us has. You couldn’t ask for a better gift than that!
