“This, then, is how you should pray: Our Father in Heaven, hallowed be your name.”

Matthew 6:9
Jesus taught that our loving Daddy who dwells in the heavenly realm is much more than we can imagine. His power is limitless; His glory goes beyond earthly reality. He is bigger than the gigantic universe He created by the word of His mouth. Jesus wants us to know there is nothing impossible for our Father. The mountains of struggle we face can be leveled by the whisper of His voice.
Some of the most joyful and enthusiastic praise times i’ve known have been in prison chapels. I love to worship with my brothers and sisters who have been liberated from the prison of sin by the Father’s love through Jesus. When we give praise to our glorious heavenly Father for who He is and for all He has done, He fills us with His Spirit.
You have a Father in heaven, and His name is great. But that great and awesome Father saw fit to come down to your level, to walk on this earth and know the pain of a sin-sick world. He has come near through Jesus. Like a good father kneeling down close to his child, our Father in heaven comes to us.
