“Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong. Do everything in love.”1 Corinthians 16:13-14
People of courage know they are weak but also are confident that their Lord is strong. One of the great mysteries of life, one that we seem to learn as we grow older, is that out of our weakness and need comes God’s most stunning power and solution to our problems. His grace is sufficient for us to deal with our fears and worries. His strength is made perfect in our weakness (see 2 Corinthians 12:9-10).
Christ was “crucified in weakness” (2 Corinthians 13:4). He went to the cross for us out of love and was resurrected in the power of His Father. So be reborn in the strength of the One who gave His life for you.
1 Corinthians 16:13-18
In His strength, you don't have to pretend to be something you are not. His strength makes you strong even in your weakness.
