“There is no speech or language where their voice is not heard. Their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.”

Psalm 19:3-4
We read in Genesis how God created the heavens and the earth, at first formless, empty, and dark until the Spirit of God moved over it. The result was beauty and life of every kind. The mighty oceans, the majestic mountains, the grassy prairies, the spectacular forests, and starry heavens all cry out for the recognition of a power beyond humanity. Our own words fail to describe adequately these wonders.

The Genesis account goes on to reveal that God created another masterpiece, this one in human form and made in His own image. He imparted the power of creativity into us. The brush of the artist, the melody of the musician, the pen of the writer… every form of artistry is His power at work in His creation.

Another great and even more monumental work of art is the living out of a life of faith that flows with love. Given the canvas of our lives, we are free to paint our own unique design. Mistakes and wrong choices can be woven into the fabric when redeemed by the Master Artist. We are His masterpieces, and our lives display His glory.
