“He who testifies to these things says, ‘Yes, I am coming soon.’ Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.”

Revelation 22:20
Look around. What do you see in the kingdom of man? Even in the USA, one of the freest, most advanced nations in the world, you see brokenness, anxiety, depression, theft, murder, envy, anger, drugs, abortion, corruption, and more. This is what happens when God gives sinful men over to the evil desires of their hearts (as mentioned in Romans 1), allowing them some measure of their own lordship in this world.

One of the main reasons Christians should be driven to pray for the kingdom of God to come is so that the perfect rule and reign of Jesus will govern the earth. When that day arrives, every bad thing will finally disappear forever. There will be no more pain, suffering, or sorrow. There’ll be no cancer, no drug addictions, no prisons where people are locked up like animals in cages. On that day, His majesty will wash over us like rays of sunshine on the first day of spring. Every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord.

Are you eager for that day? If so, implore God to come quickly.
