“So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.”

Colossians 2:6-7
“It’s all relative,” people say. Don’t let that phrase entice you. Only the One behind absolute truth welcomes you into His mercy, peace, and contentment.

A family could afford just one glass of milk for their children at mealtime. At night each child sipped a bit from the glass and then passed it on to the next. When a tornado struck, their young son got separated from them. A Red Cross nurse gave him a tall, cold glass of milk the first night at dinnertime. Taking it, he looked around at the hundreds of others in the shelter and didn’t know what to do. He asked the nurse, “Ma’am, how deeply can I drink?” She smiled and said, “Son, you can drink just as deeply as you want!”

Drink deeply from Jesus Christ. Completeness, acceptance, forgiveness, freedom, and triumph are yours in abundant, never-ending supply. “Confirm God’s invitation to you … Don’t put it off …. Do this, and you’ll have your life on a firm footing, the streets paved, and the way wide open into the eternal kingdom of … Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 1:10-11, The Message).
