"'Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened,
and I will give you rest.'"
(MATTHEW 11:28)

Matthew 11:28-30
I heard recently that 50% of today’s American youth come from broken homes. Half of our children are living with the pain of rejection and the feeling of “not being good enough.” Where can unconditional, unfailing love be found?

No one can find such love anywhere other than in Jesus Christ. Only He will never leave us or forsake us. Some people say religion is just a crutch to lean on. But a crutch is of no use when it comes to a broken heart. That’s a job for the God of the universe. He will heal the deep wounds of your heart.

Jesus offers to carry our burdens. “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you” (1 Peter 5:7). To the lonely, fearful, rejected and abandoned He promises, “Surely I am with you always” (Matthew 28:20). These promises have been written in stone, sealed in blood, and delivered to you by the One who left His home to launch the greatest rescue ever. No matter what the extent of brokenness in your home or your life, you can lean on Him and trust Him to
see you through.
