PART 1: Peter is one of the most prominent figures in the New Testament. Though he was known for his boldness and failures, Jesus still kept using him. Retrace his steps when you listen this conversation between Charles Morris and filmmaker Ray Bruce.
PART 2: Before Jesus called him, Peter was simply a man trying to make a living. On today’s program, find out how his journey from fisherman to fisher of men demonstrates how gracious the Lord is in our own lives today.
PART 3: Many expected the Messiah to be a king who would liberate Israel from her oppressor, Rome. Peter was no different. It’s only after the transfiguration that he saw Jesus for who he truly was and what he came to do.
PART 4: Jesus told Peter he was a “rock” that would build his church. But Jesus also called Peter Satan once. On today’s program, Charles Morris discuses how grace turns enemies into friends.
PART 5: Jesus knew Peter would betray him three times before the crucifixion. But instead of abandoning Peter, Jesus extended grace and forgiveness.
PART 6: Our next stop as we follow in the footsteps of Peter – the Day of Pentecost. What was it all about? And what really took place there?
PART 7: Peter saw Jesus perform thousands of miracles. From healing the sick to raising the dead. But nothing could prepare him for the first time the Spirit allowed him to do the same in Jesus’ name.
PART 8: No one is beyond the reach of God’s grace. Peter found this out through a vision that led him to minister to people he previously thought were too sinful and unclean.
PART 9: Actions speak louder than words. When Peter discovered the gospel was meant for both Gentiles and Jews, it didn’t become real until he actually began putting it into practice.
PART 10: Peter lived in a time when Gentiles were seen as second class citizens. But even after he knew they should be fully included in the church, he hesitated and Paul rebuked him for it. There’s a lesson in this for us all.
