Health and Financial Safeguards For 2022
Regulations regarding COVID and international travel continue to evolve. Currently neither Israel nor Jordan require vaccination or PCR testing upon entry. Israel does require, however, that each traveler carry COVID specific health insurance and will ask for proof of that prior to your departure. Also, please be aware that if you do develop COVID like symptoms while in Israel, it is a legal requirement to report that, take a PCR test and then self-isolate if the test is positive. Your insurance should cover any costs if that were to occur.
We strongly recommend cancellation insurance for at least the cost of your flights. Since each tour member is responsible for purchasing their own airfares, should Haven need to cancel the tour Haven’s only responsibility is to refund monies for the land portion as per the Cancellation Policy below. Haven bears no responsibility for airfare refunds.
Subsequently we are putting in place the following processes and procedures this time around:
- We have purposefully chosen higher end hotels as a precaution against COVID contact.
- We ask that all tour members follow local government regulations.
- We ask that all medical insurance cover COVID treatment and quarantine expenses.
- If for any reason Haven has to cancel this tour, all payments made by a tour member for the land portion of the tour will be refunded, with the exception of a reasonable handling fee charged by our travel agency, Pilgrim Tours.
Concerned about safety? As a Christian tour operator, the staff at Pilgrim Tours takes a Biblical perspective in regards to the current situation in the Middle East. We do not believe that peace in Israel is something that will occur until the Prince of Peace comes to restore His kingdom. Please, do not make a reservation with us based on the hopes of a calm future. If you are interested in the special blessings only available in Israel, we will take you there. An expert driver and guide will keep you from areas that could present a problem and treat you to the riches of Israel as a special guest.
A $300 per person US Dollar deposit is required by August 19, 2022 to secure a reservation. *Your reservation is not considered confirmed until Pilgrim Tours has received both the deposit and completed reservation form.
Final payment for all tours is due September 6, 2022.
* Payment for retail tours can be made by check, Visa, Discover, or Master Card. Payments not received on time will result in reservation cancellation without refund.
Pilgrim Tours strongly suggests purchasing a travel insurance plan. Be sure to check with your health insurance provider as many US medical coverage plans may not cover you outside of the country. Insurance costs are based on the total tour cost, including air taxes and charges listed under “Not Included.” These charges are added to the final billing. Approximate amounts can be given at time of reservation in order to purchase the appropriate amount of insurance.
