"But he said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me."

2 Corinthians 12:9
Have you ever said to God, “I can’t do this!”? I’m proud and stubborn enough that I seldom admit that, yet I regularly come to places where my strength and my stubbornness just aren’t enough.
Though God may not tempt us beyond what we can bear (1 Corinthians 10:13), He often works in us through situations well beyond our power or control. And all the while, He promises to supply what we truly need (Philippians 4:19). The more profound the discrepancies between our capabilities and our situations, the more clear it is that Jesus Christ is the one at work – not us! He can do “immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us” (Ephesians 3:20).
When you’re overwhelmed by life’s challenges, cry out to your Savior, “I can’t do this, but You can!” He will overwhelm you with His grace which is all you need, and with His power which is magnified in light of your own limitations. His grace is sufficient because Jesus won for you the victory over all life’s sins and troubles.
