The church, then, is an extended family, and we are His adopted children. God’s household provides a nurturing atmosphere which draws its members together. Psalm 68:6
tells us, “God sets the lonely in families,” whether blood- related or spiritually united. We can show the patterns of love that should govern all other relations as the Bible enters into real life.
A home that is secured by obedient faith has a pervading sense of calm acceptance and affection which can weather any storm.
